About me

Healing, in my experience, doesn’t happen by fixing what’s broken. It happens when we stop running from it.

The pain, the shame, the parts of ourselves we’ve spent years avoiding - these are not the obstacles to a meaningful life. They are, paradoxically, the doorway into one. My work as a therapist is rooted in this belief: that when we turn toward our suffering with curiosity rather than fear, we find not just relief but fuel - for creativity, for growth, for a life that feels genuinely ours.

This is relational work. What happens between us - in the room, in the silence, in the moments of friction and recognition - is not incidental to the therapy. It is the therapy. Healing is co-created, shaped by the quality of the relationship we build together over time.

It requires commitment. And it requires a particular kind of bravery. Not the dramatic, visible kind, but the quiet courage to show up honestly, week after week, for yourself.

I work integratively, drawing on depth psychology and meaning-centred approaches, with a deep conviction that every human being is capable of transforming their experience into something that empowers rather than diminishes them.

If you are ready to do that work, I am ready to do it with you.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
