About me
About Me
Neuro-affirming counselling for adults and young people; in-person in and around Dawlish (EX7) & online
I’m Ines (she/her), a neurodivergent therapist (ADHD and Dyslexia) offering a warm, affirming space for adults and young people.
I specialise in supporting autistic, AuDHD, dyslexic and ADHD clients with late realisation/diagnosis, burnout, masking, rejection sensitivity, and relationship patterns. I bring lived neurodivergent experience, so you won’t need to mask with me.
Maybe you’ve reached a point where even the small things feel hard. You’re doing everything you can, but inside there’s a steady hum of “something isn’t quite right.” A little anxiety, a little low confidence, a sense of disconnection. You might not have the words for it: you just know you can’t keep pushing through on empty.
Take a breath. You’re in the right place.
I offer a compassionate, non‑judgemental space where you can speak honestly, make sense of your thoughts and feelings, explore what’s happening in your life, and find your own authentic path forward. One that feels grounded, real, and whole.
Why Choose Me
As someone who has spent a lifetime understanding my own wiring, emotions, anxiety, self‑worth and self‑esteem, I know what it’s like to feel both too much and not enough. To mask, to push through, and to wonder why it can feel like you’re always swimming upstream.
Together we explore your thoughts, feelings and relationships so you can understand yourself more fully and feel more at ease in your life.
I have experience supporting people with:
Late discovery / diagnosis of being Neurodivergent
Neurodivergent burnout, masking, RSD‑type sensitivity
Executive function struggles — procrastination, overwhelm, time management
Anxiety, depression, and low mood
Trauma and surviving abuse
Low self‑esteem, shame, or feeling “different”
Communication challenges
Neurodivergent‑Friendly Therapy
Sessions are paced and adapted to your needs — communication style, processing speed, online, walk‑and‑talk, or in your own home. Please let me know what would support you most.
Healing isn’t about fixing yourself; it’s about remembering who you were before the world told you to be smaller. I’ve seen people start to breathe again, feel more at ease in themselves and their relationships, and finally trust that they’re not broken, just healing.
I help you break repetitive cycles, rebuild trust and safety after abuse or betrayal, and strengthen emotional connection and resilience.
Session lengths: 60 or 90 minutes, depending on your preference.
How I Work
In our sessions, you lead the way. I won’t tell you what to do, but I’ll help you explore your thoughts and feelings so you can find your own path forward. I gently challenge beliefs that may be keeping you stuck, always with care and curiosity.
I draw on a variety of interventions: reflective, creative, relational, or structured, depending on what feels right for you.
The therapeutic relationship is central to my work, so I focus on building trust, acceptance, and understanding. Together we create a space where you can safely explore, question, and grow.
