About me

Anxiety, panic and past experiences can affect how we feel, relate and cope. Therapy can help you understand how these experiences continue to shape your responses and find a way forward that feels more manageable.

I am a BABCP-accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) and EMDR Practitioner with extensive experience working in both NHS and private settings. My work is focused on supporting adults experiencing trauma, PTSD and trauma-related anxiety, as well as specific anxiety disorders including panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), health anxiety, social anxiety and phobias.

I often work with people who have been managing their difficulties for a long time and may feel frustrated, emotionally overwhelmed, or unsure why certain reactions persist. This can show up as a constant sense of threat, intense emotional responses, low self-esteem, or feeling stuck despite repeated efforts to cope or “push through”. Rather than focusing on coping alone, therapy offers space to understand what is maintaining these difficulties and to develop ways of responding that feel more grounded and sustainable.

Alongside CBT, I use Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) to support the processing of distressing or traumatic experiences that may continue to have an impact, even when they are difficult to put into words. I am also training in Systemic and Family Therapy, which allows me to consider how relationships, family dynamics, cultural background and life transitions can influence emotional wellbeing.

I work in an inclusive and affirming way, recognising the importance of identity, neurodiversity and lived experience. I offer therapy in both English and Greek and welcome clients from diverse backgrounds.

How I Can Help

I offer specialist psychological therapy for adults experiencing:

✔Trauma and PTSD, including complex or developmental trauma
✔Panic attacks and panic disorder
✔Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)
✔Health anxiety, social anxiety and specific phobias
✔Anxiety linked to past experiences, chronic stress or overwhelming life events
✔Low self-esteem and negative self-beliefs rooted in earlier experiences
✔Difficulties adjusting following distressing or life-changing events
✔Anxiety and emotional regulation difficulties in the context of ADHD or autism

Therapy can offer a space to slow things down, understand the patterns that have developed over time, and work towards responding rather than reacting. Together, we focus on reducing the impact of anxiety or distress while supporting longer-term change that feels sustainable.

 My Approach

My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative and tailored to your individual needs. CBT provides a structured framework for understanding how thoughts, emotions and behaviours interact, while EMDR allows us to work more directly with distressing memories and experiences that continue to affect the present.

Rather than focusing only on managing symptoms, I aim to help clients develop a deeper understanding of their difficulties, reduce the intensity of anxiety or emotional distress, and regain a sense of choice and control in their lives. Sessions are adapted to suit you, whether that involves working in a structured way or taking things more gently and gradually when needed.

I offer therapy both online and in person.

Further information

The first few sessions serve as an opportunity for you to see if I’m the right therapist for you and to decide whether you’d like to work together on a short-term basis or in an open-ended way.

In our first session, we will also go over the therapeutic contract, which outlines key boundaries to ensure a safe and supportive space for you.

I offer a sliding scale structure where sessions can be either short-term and goal-focused or open-ended, depending on your needs.
