About me
Sometimes, life can feel difficult or maybe even overwhelming and speaking to somebody from outside of your family and friends can give you a different perspective, an opportunity to view things differently and perhaps to speak more openly.
I am a person-centred counsellor and provide counselling for both adults and young people. I believe that every person has the capacity for growth and self-healing if they have the right environment. I will provide you with a safe, warm empathic space where you will be listened to, heard and fully accepted without judgement. The therapeutic relationship is at the heart of my work and is built on trust and respect. You are the expert on your own life, we will work at your pace, you will choose what you would like to bring to your sessions, the agenda is yours. For example, you may want to explore your past to understand its impact on who you are now; you may want to talk about current issues to bring about understanding and peace of mind; you may want to explore who you really are to bring about greater understanding and calmness
We can explore what is happening, or has happened, in your life, your feelings, challenges, your aspirations. I work in a warm, gentle, supportive way and I hope that you will always feel safe. We can work towards greater self-awareness and emotional wellbeing, towards greater confidence and stronger self-worth, empowering you to feel more confident in facing life’s challenges and supporting you to create meaningful, positive change. I am here to help you navigate your journey toward healing and growth.
