About me

How can I help you ?

I specialise in relationship difficulties and challenges; intimate, familial or otherwise and the anxiety and overwhelm this can trigger.  I also work with  children of divorce and issues it brings up in adulthood.

Are you seeking counselling as you begin a new relationship or adjusting to a major life transition and want to talk with a professional about your worries?  Is there a relationship dynamic you want support with that just seems to exhaust you but you cannot understand why ?

Behind closed doors, you might feel like an outsider, constantly on your guard, and maybe you are realising people-pleasing that no longer serves you.

You could be experiencing deep loneliness that keeps your struggles alive. You might hold a fear about fully opening up to others even though you really want  connection.

Often, these painful patterns don't appear out of nowhere. If your childhood needs were never supported, it is completely natural that you now feel ill-equipped to express them or get them met in your adult relationships .

I specialise in helping adults identify and heal the root causes of relationship difficulties, anxiety, and trauma response patterns. Together, we will gently unpack how unprocessed childhood neglect and old wounds remain embodied in the present.

The depth and pace of our work are always entirely your decision. I provide a safe, warm, and strictly non-judgemental space where you can face your past with self-compassion instead of self-blame.

My professional training, my warmth, empathy, unconditional support and lived experiences give me the capacity to use my intuition and insight to support you safely and at your pace to help us with what is really going on.

As a trauma-informed therapist, I blend my professional training with intuition and the mature insight needed to unpack deeply rooted childhood patterns. I bring a deep cultural awareness to my practice, acknowledging how our unique backgrounds shape who we are.

Alongside my private practice, my clinical experience includes working with a West London bereavement charity and supporting young people navigating family breakdowns and divorce.

For your complete peace of mind, I am a registered member of the BACP, fully insured, and hold an enhanced DBS check.

Take the first step. You do not have to carry any of this alone. Reach out today to arrange a free, informal 15-minute video introduction. We can connect, discuss what you are facing, and see if we are the right fit to work together.

As a member of the BACP I adhere to the BACP ethical guidelines.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a diploma in integrative psychotherapeutic counselling as well as clinical practice in specialist areas of grief and trauma.

With my experience and qualifications I have developed various techniques  for working with a client who feels overwhelmed by situations . I will provide psycho education on what is happening in relation to the body and mind. somatic or body based and mindfulness techniques, as well as looking more carefully at your story . This will help us deepen awareness of what has been taking place and will inform our sessions to allow change to take place.  We will also shine a light on your inner child if it becomes important.

I have an MSC in health promotion and a background in the Social Sciences.

Alongside Private Practice. I have worked with a bereavement organisation in Ealing helping bereaved adults from 16 years old and I currently work with young adults with difficult relational and childhood experiences including self-harm and sexual abuse.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
