About me
My name is Harry, and I am an experienced and qualified psychodynamic psychotherapist who has been working for years with clients within the NHS and community settings. I see clients for both short-term and longer-term therapy depending on what works for you.
My background and training is Psychodynamic, meaning I am interested in how our early lives and past relationships can shape our current ones. However, I am also highly adaptive to your needs, and believe in working together to find out what approach will suit you best. I have a specific interest in working with younger adults and those with neurodiversity. I also have extensive experience in working with a range of issues such as abuse, trauma, grief, low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, relationship problems, and other mental health difficulties. Above all, I believe in the importance of building a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust and safety, which can provide the platform to help work through the issues you have been facing and get you feeling better.
I offer a free fifteen-minute phone call where we can discuss what brings you to therapy, for you to ask any questions and see whether it feels like we’re a good fit. If you’re happy to go ahead, we can then can then arrange an initial session with a view to meeting weekly.
It can be a daunting process trying to find the right therapist, especially when you’re not feeling your best. If after we speak you feel like a different therapeutic approach or different therapist would be a better fit, then don’t worry, it won’t be taken personally, and I can try and signpost you to further support.

Training, qualifications & experience
I have worked for the past fifteen years in helping professions across health and social care. Before training to become a therapist, my background was in education and SEND roles. I passionately believe in helping others and that therapy should be accessible to all. Alongside my private practice, I work in a community organisation offering free therapy to young adults in North London. I offer a warm, confidential and inclusive space for people from all walks of life.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
