About me

Welcome, and thank you for visiting my profile.

Taking the first step toward seeking help can feel overwhelming. With so many options available, finding someone you truly connect with is essential. As a person-centred counsellor, I offer a warm, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard and supported.

At the heart of this approach is the therapeutic relationship. I believe that genuine connection between client and counsellor is essential for healing and growth. That’s why I place great importance on building a relationship based on mutual respect, trust, and authenticity. It’s within this relationship that you may begin to feel safe enough to be fully yourself and explore what truly matters to you.

In our sessions, you set the pace. We focus on what feels most important to you, whether that’s managing current challenges or exploring deeper issues from your past. You may be looking for a space to express your frustrations, process trauma or abuse, or explore your identity and sense of self. You might be experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-confidence, burnout, or a general feeling of being lost or out of place. Whatever you're facing, you're not alone. Together, we can work at your pace to help you move forward.

If you feel that working with me might be helpful, or if you’d simply like to learn more, I’d love to hear from you. Please feel free to email or text me to arrange a FREE 15-minute introductory telephone call. This call is a chance for you to ask any questions you may have and for us to see whether I’m the right therapist to support you. There’s no obligation to continue if it doesn’t feel like the right fit.

I will always respond to any inquiries, please ensure you check your junk/spam folder.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
