About me

I work with clients age 16-30 navigating the different life changes and challenges that happen whilst entering, or at the start of, adulthood. We make such important decisions across these years - choosing school subjects, careers, friends and relationships and it makes all the difference to have someone who understands these difficult choices and can help you with them.

I understand how daunting finding a therapist you truly connect with can be. Therapy is a partnership and I hope that we will build a relationship that feels safe and supportive.

Therapy is a time and cost commitment. If you're unsure where to start, I find a 12 or 24 session frame works well. After this, we can then review and see if you would like to have more sessions.

I work online and in-person, currently in Bushey. Please get in contact to find out more.

Modalities: Counselling, Integrative Psychotherapy, Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

Working with: ADHD, Anxiety, Relationship issues, Stress, Self-esteem, Navigating Life Changes (divorce in the family, leaving school/university)

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a BACP registered counselling psychotherapist. I completed a foundation course and masters course at Regent's University London. I also have additional training in ADHD and, alongside my private practice, work at an ADHD Harley Street Clinic.

I worked as a crisis line volunteer for 4 years. Using my experience from this and from my client work, I deliver workshops to different organisations, including law firms and schools on mental health topics.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information

I have dedicated part of my practice to work with parents of neurodivergent teens who would like help to better understand their children and knowing the best way to support them through different life stages (school, relationships, choosing careers, bullying etc.). I am informed through the many neurodivergent young people who I have worked with who sometimes tell me they feel misunderstood by their parents, and what would help them feel better supported.
