About me
My name is Haeran, and I am an integrative counsellor / psychotherapist based in Sheffield, working full time I support over 20 clients per week from all walks of life through various issues and challenges.
I work with people experiencing a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges, including anxiety, Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD), ADHD, depression, low self-confidence, family difficulties, trauma, low self-esteem, autism, broader mental health concerns, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), bereavement and many more areas of therapy besides.
I believe therapy should never feel like you're being judged or analysed. Instead, I offer a calm, compassionate environment where we work together to understand what is happening, why it feels so difficult while working towards your ideal goals.
Every client is different, so rather than following a single counselling model, I tailor therapy to you, drawing on a range of evidence-based approaches to suit your individual needs. Whilst I am a qualified hypnotherapist also, this isn't something I offer clients unless they have specifically requested this.
Prior to private practice I have worked within NHS mental health services, the charity mental health services sector, and have supported emergency service and military personnel after my time as a firefighter. These experiences have given me the privilege of working with people facing an incredibly wide variety of emotional and psychological challenges and this experience is of value providing insight into client work.
My practice is located on Carver Street in Sheffield City Centre (S1), with excellent tram and bus links with several nearby car parks.
