About me
My name is Haeran; I am an experienced, integrative counsellor with a background in emergency services and mental health provision.
I blend various therapeutic approaches to create a unique, personal therapy experience for you. Offering a safe, non-judgmental space we will work collaboratively to find the resolution you are looking for.
I have worked with long-term mental health conditions on behalf of the NHS and have worked for several years with a mental health charity.
As a former firefighter and having worked overseas alongside the armed forces I have experience working with both active and former service personnel.
My practice is located on Carver Street, Sheffield City Centre (S1); which provide a calm, inclusive and safe space for all with great tram & bus links nearby & multiple accessible car parks within a minute or two walking distance.
Training, qualifications & experience
At Evermore Therapies, as an integrative counsellor I routinely support clients with a wide range of emotional, psychological, and relational difficulties, including: anxiety, Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD), ADHD, depression, low self-confidence, family difficulties, trauma, low self-esteem, autism, broader mental health concerns, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), bereavement and loss, relationship and couples work, stress, anger management, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), LGBTQ+ affirming counselling, addiction, neurodiversity-related challenges, persistent sadness, loneliness, suicidal thoughts, career and workplace concerns, and social anxiety.
I draw upon various techniques and modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Gestalt, Transactional Analysis and attachment theory where appropriate, alongside wider integrative therapy methods.
While these are some of the issues I commonly work with, therapy is always tailored to the individual, recognising that no two people experience their struggles in exactly the same way.
I hold: Dip CST / Ad Dip Psy C / Cert Hyp CS
