About me

I have worked as a psychotherapist and counsellor for over 30 years. My approach could be described as Relational Integrative.

I also supervise other therapists as well as tutor/lecture the subject at MSc level.

I am interested in people and what it is to be a human being, what we struggle with, what brings us joy, as well as how we suffer.

I offer short term and long term therapy.

I recently moved from London and am focusing on meeting people face to face.

You might wonder /ask yourself how will meeting with me support you in the pain or distress you are currently in? I believe that knowing yourself offers you more options in life . The confidential space and professional relationship can lead to a more compassionate relationship with ones self. This in itself can ease anxiety and depression.

This has been my experience as a ‘client’. The opportunity I have as a Psychotherapist, meeting with people from all walks of life, gender, class and cultures, enriches my life.

Welcome to contact me for a mutual assessment .

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

UKCP
UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP)

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Accredited register membership

Other areas of counselling I deal with

I prefer not to tick box people presenting issues. I believe I have encountered most of the above issues and problems as it is all what it is to be human.

If I believed or assumed that I would not be the right person for you I would assist in helping you find the right professional for you.
