About me
Hello, I’m Gianluca Failla, a COSRT-registered psychosexual and relationship therapist based in London. I work with individuals and couples, offering both online and in-person therapy, and I aim to provide a calm, respectful space where you can speak openly and feel understood, without judgement or pressure.
I work with individuals and relationship, including polyamory
People often come to me when something feels difficult to talk about or hard to make sense of. This might include anxiety or panic, feeling emotionally disconnected, relationship conflict, challenges around sex and intimacy, or a sense of shame that has built up over time. You may be struggling with desire differences, low libido, erection or orgasm difficulties, sexual pain (including vaginismus or dyspareunia), performance anxiety, or uncertainty about what you want and how to communicate it.
I have extensive experience working with LGBTQ+ clients, including individuals and couples, and I offer affirmative, non-pathologising therapy that respects sexual orientation, gender identity, relationship diversity and lived experience. I also work with clients where sexual behaviour, substances and relationships intersect, including chemsex-related concerns, compulsive sexual behaviour, boundaries, consent, emotional regulation and harm-reduction-informed support.
Alongside psychosexual and couples work, I support neurodivergent clients, including autistic adults, and people who may feel overwhelmed, misunderstood, or exhausted from masking or overthinking. My approach is collaborative, practical and compassionate, and we work at a pace that feels manageable for you.
I am multilingual (English and Italian) and experienced in working across cultures. If you are navigating cultural identity, family expectations, migration experiences, or a cross-cultural relationship, therapy can help you explore these dynamics with sensitivity and clarity.
My aim is to help you feel heard, supported and more confident in your relationships, your sexuality and your sense of self, so that change feels possible and sustainable.
My way of working is collaborative, thoughtful and grounded. I believe therapy works best when you feel safe enough to be honest — including about the things that may feel confusing, uncomfortable or hard to put into words. We will take time to understand what’s happening for you, rather than rushing to “fix” anything.
I work integratively, drawing on psychosexual therapy, relationship therapy, and evidence-based approaches to anxiety and emotional regulation. Sessions are shaped around your needs and goals, whether you’re coming on your own or as a couple. Some people want practical tools and structure; others need space to reflect and make sense of patterns — often therapy includes a bit of both.
I’m particularly mindful of working with neurodivergent clients, including autistic adults, where communication, sensory experiences or emotional processing may feel different. I adapt sessions to suit you, keeping things clear, respectful and paced in a way that feels manageable.
My work is LGBTQ+ affirmative and inclusive of different identities, bodies, cultures and relationship styles. If you’re in a cross-cultural or intercultural relationship, or navigating differences in values, family expectations or identity, therapy can help create understanding rather than blame.
Above all, I aim to offer a space that feels warm, steady and non-judgemental, where change can happen gently and in a way that lasts.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a COSRT-registered Psychosexual & Relationship Therapist and completed the London Diploma in Psychosexual & Relationship Psychotherapy (LDPRT) with Distinction.
Alongside this, I bring over 10 years’ experience in sexual health and relational work, supporting individuals and couples with low desire, communication difficulties, intimacy challenges and confidence-related concerns.
My background includes work in NHS and specialist settings, supporting people with sensitive and complex issues using evidence-informed approaches, including motivational interviewing and behavioural change interventions.
I am currently completing the Advanced Diploma in Relationship Psychotherapy at the NAOS Institute, which further deepens my work with attachment, couple dynamics and relational processes.
I engage in regular clinical supervision and ongoing professional development to ensure my practice remains safe, reflective and ethically grounded.
