About me

If you’re here, chances are something’s not feeling right. Maybe you’re stuck in old patterns that you can’t quite make sense of. Maybe you’re exhausted from managing anxiety, doubting yourself constantly, or feeling like there’s a younger version of you inside who never quite got what they needed. Maybe you're just tired of pretending you're okay when you're not. I work with people who want to understand themselves more deeply and gently move toward change—even if they’re not quite sure what that looks like yet.

How I work
I blend different approaches to suit you—including exploring past experiences and emotional patterns (like how childhood relationships still shape us now), alongside tools to help you cope better in the here and now (like quieting your inner critic, and responding differently to your thoughts and feelings).

Some days we might explore where something comes from. Other days, we might focus on what to do with it. Therapy with me is a mix of compassion, curiosity, and sometimes a bit of humour too—because let’s be honest, therapy  doesn’t have to be cold or clinical.

What to expect
There’s no pressure to have everything figured out. I’ll meet you where you are—even if where you are feels tangled, tired, or totally uncertain. I offer a space where you can bring the messy stuff without judgement. Together we’ll gently untangle things and help you feel more grounded, more understood, and more like yourself again.

If any of this resonates lets have a chat to see if we might be a fit.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
