About me

Hello and welcome to my profile, thank you for gifting me a moment of your time! First, allow me tell you a little about myself and explain how I offer help or assistance for my clients.

Personally, I have had to deal with and overcome many issues, from self confidence/esteem to self harm which have all stemmed from feelings of persecution, bullying or anxiety, because of either my sexuality or lifestyle choices.

I am still dealing with some of these issues, and they may pop their head up every so often just to remind me that it is always a constant battle. I became a fully qualified counsellor so that I would be available to assist people in finding resolution to the difficulties that they, like me, may be facing.

Studies show that throughout the world where counselling therapy is available the most common number of sessions a client has is one. (W. Dryden 2020) Let us make that one session worthwhile and successful. I have worked successfully with over 150 clients.

What is Single Session Therapy?

A robust and rapid response for providing counselling / life coaching, together we seek a beneficial therapeutic goal to most situations you may be currently dealing with.

You can email me (info@empowered-minds.co.uk) providing your name and email address to request further details about single session therapy, alternatively feel free to call my secure and confidential telephone answering service (07732 407261) leaving your name and phone number, as well as a convenient and safe time that you would wish to receive a callback.

Email/text replies or telephone callbacks are typically within two working days, (at the requested callback time).

Everybody can benefit from having support; being able to talk freely and have someone truly and actively listen to you, to help share the weight of the burdens that you feel overwhelmed by.

Just having that someone to talk to can help bring about some light to the darkness, or maybe even reveal a whole new and totally unexpected horizon.

Counselling is a joint partnership between therapist and client, it has been scientifically proven that it is the therapeutic relationship - the strength of the alliance between client and therapist which determines the level of success.

My goal will be to empower you to feel comfortable and relaxed when looking behind at whatever may have happened in the past, standing strong along side you during whatever current difficulties are going on, and most very importantly the investment in empowering your future with determination, enthusiasm, confidence and self-assurance.

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.

Empowered-Minds therapy centre benefits from having a ramp at the front door.
