About me
Why Connecting Matters - Is it all just too much? Right now life for so many is overwhelming. Whether it’s juggling too many responsibilities, feeling stuck in a cycle of anxiety, or carrying the weight of grief, it’s easy to feel alone. You’ve tried to talk to someone, but they didn’t really listen—or didn’t seem to understand. That can leave you feeling disconnected, unheard, or like no one truly gets what you’re going through.
Connection changes that. Being truly listened to—having someone who hears not just your words, but what’s underneath them—can make all the difference. It creates space for clarity, for feeling supported, and for taking the first steps toward change.
How I Can Help
This isn’t about ticking boxes or finding quick fixes. It’s about giving you a space where you can speak openly and honestly, without fear of being judged or dismissed. Together, we’ll explore what’s weighing you down and look at ways to help you move forward. Whether it’s untangling anxious thoughts, rebuilding self-confidence, or processing difficult emotions, everything is guided by what feels right for you.
What You Can Expect
Our work is shaped around your struggles, your goals, and your pace. Sessions are a chance for you to feel heard and supported while facilitating, meaningful steps toward feeling more grounded and in control. It’s not about forcing solutions or trying to “fix” you—it’s about giving you the tools and connection to feel stronger, more confident, and more connected to what’s important in your life.
Taking the First Step
It’s not always easy to reach out, especially if you’ve been used to carrying everything on your own. But asking for support doesn’t mean you’ve failed—it means you’re ready for things to be different. You don’t have to have it all figured out before we talk, and you won’t need to explain everything perfectly. This is your space, and I’m here to listen, understand, and help you make sense of what’s going on. Together, we’ll take it one step at a time.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (CPCAB) and am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP). My approach is integrative, combining different therapeutic techniques to suit each individual’s needs.
In addition to my private practice, I have worked in the community, supporting children aged 12 and above in schools, particularly those with neurodiversity and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. I have experience working directly with students, helping them manage anxiety, low self-esteem, and other emotional challenges, as well as providing guidance and support to families.
Through both my school work and private practice, I have built a reputation for providing compassionate, effective support tailored to each individual. My goal is always to create a space where people feel heard, understood, and empowered to take the next step in their journey.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
