About me

Counselling is not just what I do. It is something I care about deeply. I feel truly privileged to be part of my clients’ journeys, and I am continually moved by the courage and resilience they bring into the therapy space.

As an integrative counsellor, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches tailored to your unique needs. Whether you are carrying pain from the past, feeling stuck, or simply seeking clarity, I offer a warm, confidential, and compassionate space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions at your own pace.

I have supported young people in education through anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and relationship issues, and also worked with adults facing a broad range of challenges, including addiction, trauma, abuse, grief, migration and identity.

Alongside my counselling practice, I work as a school counsellor, aiding young people through various challenges. I also teach the CPCAB Level 2 Counselling Skills course, helping those who are beginning their own journey into the field of counselling. Teaching keeps me connected to the foundations of the profession and continually deepens my understanding of the therapeutic process.

I'm committed to ongoing growth as a therapist, regularly engaging in training and staying informed on developments in somatic approaches, psychology, and neuroscience to better support those I work with.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their code of ethics - registration number 00998059. I am also a member of the CPCAB.

I hold full insurance and I am registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
