About me

Hello.

My name is Francesca and I'm an Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor. I specialise in bereavement, grief and terminal illness diagnosis. I also work within other areas including: anxiety, depression, low self esteem, addictions, stress, etc.

I provide therapy and counselling for adults in a calm and safe environment. I was drawn to counselling as I have experienced all sorts of challenges and difficulties over the years - just like you. I reached a point in my life when I decided to challenge these experiences to help others who may be struggling and to help them navigate their way around whatever life has thrown at them.

We would work together to provide a genuine, authentic environment that enables the client to feel safe and free to explore their thoughts, feelings or whatever they want to. We would move forward to gain a better understanding and perspective on your emotions and feelings. The environment that I create for my clients is non judgemental and a safe place for you to explore whatever you wish to and address what it is that is causing distress.

As everyone is an individual I work with various approaches so that therapy can be tailored specifically to an individual's specific needs and circumstances. These approaches include Person Centred, Psychodynamic and Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) therapies. I believe that the person who can help you best is you - nobody knows you better than you do. I am not able to "fix" you or "mend" you - you are not broken.

I offer online counselling via zoom, or google meet or telephone counselling. I can also offer in person sessions as required. I also work evenings and week ends.

I hope I hear from you!

£45.00 per session
Free initial telephone or online session

Additional information

Each session runs for approximately 50 minutes.

Before booking sessions I offer a free 15 minute telephone call or on line meeting to see if I can help you and for you, the client to feel comfortable working with myself. The client/counsellor relationship is vital to good therapy.

Further information

At present I tend to work online. This work well and means I can work with clients throughout the UK. There is no time spent travelling, parking, etc. Also, online work is good for those feeling anxious, sad, depressed, etc. as you can remain in the comfort of your own home.

I mainly work in a person centred way which means I believe that the person who know you best is YOU and I will work together with you in a safe, non judgemental manner. We would work together for me to understand your specific situation and needs. My role is not to "mend" you, as your are not broken. It is to work with you to find solutions to work towards a more positive future.
