About me
The most important thing to read here: I am a very friendly, down-to-earth and approachable counsellor and I am experienced in helping people to help themselves to feel less stuck.
What makes us feel stuck in our lives? At times we struggle with anxiety, depression, loss or we battle with negative experiences, thoughts and emotions. Perhaps we feel unable to talk freely or fully with friends or family, fearing being judged, or a burden.
There are times when we feel the need for a separate, private space where we may be heard without fear of judgement, to untangle whatever is blocking us.
What I offer: experience, empathy, respect and confidentiality. Feeling heard and understood is the beginning of connecting with how to move forward beyond whatever is blocking you.
I trained as an integrative counsellor which means that I offer a variety of approaches based on what works for you: a non-judgmental, empathic ear, or unflinching support to explore difficult experiences and trauma, or perhaps the opportunity to practise new ways of thinking and dealing with negative behaviours.
Fundamentally, I believe that you are the expert in your own life. I offer tailored support, understanding, reflection and gentle challenge so that you are empowered to find your own path forward.
I look forward to speaking to you soon, and starting to work together on untangling yourself from a stuck place.
