About me

I'm a fully accredited counsellor for individual and couples and a supervisor based in Cambridge. I work with people from all walks of life, I’m non-judgemental, empathetic and approachable (but don't take my word for it - see the testimonials on my website). My 'integrative' approach means I’m trained in all major therapies and blend them to best suit your individual needs.

I am bilingual, I speak fluent English and Italian.

When you contact me, we will arrange a first appointment to do an assessment. The assessment is to understand if I can help you with your issues and if we can work together. During the assessment I'll explain you how counselling works and we will talk about what kind of therapy will be more appropriate, long or short term.

I am here to help make your life better, you chose what to work on, we work together to get you there.

We will decide how many times we are going to meet and when, ideally the same day and time every week. I can be flexible if you work on shifts. I will review with you where we are with the therapy, every 6 sessions or when necessary.

We will sign an agreement that establishes my commitment to you as a counsellor and yours as a client, how I will keep your data and your rights to access them.

I work ethically and follow my professional body framework, I have a Professional Civil Liability insurance and regular supervision.

Training, qualifications & experience

I trained in Cambridge and I am a level 6 counsellor working with adults, individuals and couples and a supervisor.

Counselling for me is a vocational choice. It has helped me in the past, during difficult moments of my life and I would like to help other people to learn how to unlock their potential and reach a better understanding of themselves, their thinking and behaving, changing and adjusting their dynamics.

I am an experienced couples counsellor, I trained in couple relationship counselling and worked at Relate for several years. I’m also an accredited bereavement volunteer counsellor and supervisor with Cruse and I am trained in sexual abuse in childhood for adults with Choices. I did and do lots of CPD to keep on learning, and be always updated on new approaches and issues. I am a counsellor and trustee at Evolve Counselling, to make counselling affordable and available to everyone when is need it.

I have experience working with depression, low moods, stress and anxiety, relationships, self-motivation and more. I help people gaining confidence for interviews, exams and helping them achieve their goals in life.

I offer short or long term counselling.
