About me
I have a strong understanding of the debilitating impact mental illnesses such as anxiety, depression, OCD and other stress related conditions can have on your life due to my experience as a counsellor and a pharmacist. I also have a lot of experience of working with trauma, childhood issues, abuse, dysfunctional relationships and bereavement with my aim being to help people transform their lives so they feel valued. I focus on a strength based approach to counselling.
I have a passion for counselling young people and feel they should be given the chance to thrive. Issues such as family conflicts, academic stress, bullying, friendship issues, peer pressure, anxiety and identity issues are just some of the pressures young people have to deal with.
I also have a passion for working with people who have recently been diagnosed, self identify or are still questioning whether they have Autism, ADHD or other neurodevelopmental disorders. I have extensive experience of the difficulties and challenges that can be faced such as sensory overload or burnout, difficulty navigating social situations, challenges with change, exhaustion from masking or camouflaging in order to appear neurotypical.
I have worked with clients in the LBGTQ+ community who are navigating identity and relationship issues and have helped them feel valued and secure in themselves and as a result transform their lives.
Finally I have an understanding of how the journey through cancer can impact your mental health.
I am also a coach and mentor who can help you find the right path in life.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions via email or you can book a 15 to 30 minute zoom session to learn more via email or by phone which is free of charge. I look forward to hearing from you.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
