About me
Hi, I'm Fiona and I am a pluralistic counsellor and hypnotherapist, which means that I can draw from various counselling approaches to suit the individuals that I am working with. I believe this is so important because every individual is unique, and counselling goes beyond a one-size fits all approach.
For the healing to begin, the relationship between you and your counsellor is very important, because it is a relationship that is built on mutual respect and trust.
I work with adults over the age of 18 only, and work in a friendly, non-judgemental way. I will offer a safe environment so that you can work through your challenges and explore your thoughts & feelings; helping you decide what is best for you.
In addition to my main qualifications, I have undertaken additional training to enable me to work with those individuals who face challenges through neurodiversity.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a fully qualified & insured pluralistic counsellor & hypnotherapist. I am an accredited member of the NCPS (The National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society; MNCPS(Acc)), and hold qualifications in Hypnotherapy & Counselling Skills, earning a professional diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling Practice.
I have also undertaken extensive additional training, and obtained a TQUK Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Autism (RQF), along with a ADHD Coaching Diploma (Distinction).
I have also undergone focused training in trauma, (working with the body), sexual abuse, suicide & self-harm.
