About me
I have sixteen years of experience in working as a counsellor and psychotherapist with individuals and couples. I offer my clients a safe space to explore their challenges and help them rewrite their narrative to find their own authentic voice. My work is governed by the ethics and code of conduct of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am also a Psychosexual therapist and combine these skills with trauma informed techniques like EMDR, adapting the work according to the needs of my clients.
My work is informed by Psychodynamic therapy, which I combine with Psychosexual therapy, EMDR, CBT techniques and mindfulness to further enhance my clients' experience. I also work with sexual dysfunction and eating disorders.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the Open University. I have a PGdip in Couples Counselling and an MSc in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy. Both from Tavistock Relationships accredited by the University of East London. I have a certificate in Understanding Eating Disorders as well as EMDR

Further information
Therapy unfolds with careful respect for boundaries and consent, creating practical, goal-focused conversations that feel safe yet honest. I work online in English and Urdu. I work at a steady pace, providing structured reflection, targeted assessment and practical skill-building between sessions so you can try new ways of relating. Sessions blend attention to emotion, relational patterns and sexual wellbeing, tailoring exploration to what feels most pressing. This way of working tends to encourage individuals and couples seeking help with a supportive scaffolding of sorts for change to take place. The sessions help clients to rewrite their own narratives. I use re-parenting work to listen to the inner child, which represents our unmet needs. This has a really transformative and long-lasting impact on the relationship to self.
