About me
Welcome
You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck or unsure about where to turn. Reaching out for support can feel like a big step but you don’t have to face things alone.
Counselling offers a safe and supportive space to explore what’s going on for you and begin making meaningful changes.
What to expect
As a Person-centred counsellor, I believe that therapy begins with a trusting therapeutic relationship to support you in gently exploring what’s happening beneath the surface. I offer a Confidential, Non judgemental, Compassionate space where you are truly heard, understood and respected.
My work is client focused meaning we move at your pace and focus on what feels most important to you.
Fairness, honesty, value and respect are at the heart of my personal philosophy. I believe everyone deserves to feel seen, valued and treated with dignity. Through genuine empathy, thoughtful and purposeful exploration, we develop deeper self-understanding which is key to positive and lasting change.
Supporting Growth and Empowerment
My aim is to enable you to grow and feel empowered. I encourage you to use your own voice and build trust in your ability to make decisions for yourself with confidence and clarity.
With greater understanding comes self-acceptance, the ability to take control of your life and move forward with renewed self-belief and fulfilment.
Couples Counselling
Alongside 1:1 counselling for individuals of all ages, I also specialise in couples counselling and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
I support couples in identifying patterns of behaviour, relational roles, emotional drivers and attachment styles that may be contributing to distance or conflict. Together, we work towards healthier communication, deeper understanding, greater acceptance and a stronger emotional connection.
Approach
Sessions are primarily grounded in the Person Centred approach whilst drawing on other therapeutic techniques where helpful, including:
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
- Transactional Analysis
- Creative techniques
- Psychodynamic approaches
This flexible, integrative approach allows therapy to be tailored to your individual needs .
