About me
Thank you for visiting my page!
Have you been struggling or experiencing low mood or anxiety that perhaps you know or don't know the reasons? And you are ready to talk to a professional to make sense of your situation and to gain a deeper understanding of yourself. My areas of interests are low self esteem, relationship, life transitions and new identity. Whether you are starting university or studying abroad, starting a new job, losing a loved one, divorce/relationship breakdown, moving to a new country, becoming a mum or child/children leaving home (empty nest), retirement. Or any changes that have affecting you. Change is always difficult and stressful, I provide a safe environment for you to explore them in a deeper level, what it meant for you and what it is your new identity because of these changes.
In our sessions, we will look into how these changes affect your mental wellbeing including feeling anxious, depressed, overwhelmed, low mood, no motivation and not sleeping well. How it has affected your relationship with people around you including family, friends and colleagues.
My role is to provide a safe space for you to explore and make sense of the changes and to walk along you in this difficult times by being empathetic and striving to be non-judgemental and to challenge you when appropriate with support. By the end of it, I hope you would have gained a "new" self or identity that would help you to live the life that you want. Please do feel free to book an initial consultation to find out more.
I am an accredited counsellor with BACP and trained in integrative approach. I have more than 10 years of working experience, working in the higher education supporting students and volunteering in various mental health charities.
I offer sessions in English and Mandarin, it can be in-person, telephone or online. If you would like to find out more about how I work, please feel free to visit my website.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
