About me
Hello and welcome – I’m Emma I’m so glad you’re here. Taking the step to seek support can feel overwhelming, but by being here, you’ve already made a positive move toward change. Warrington & Wigan based - in-person sessions available.
I’m a qualified psychotherapist and integrative counsellor, and a registered member of the BACP, with over two years of experience helping clients navigate a wide range of emotional and mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, OCD, and more.
My aim is to provide a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space where you can talk openly and feel truly heard. I understand that every person is unique, which is why I offer a tailored approach.
My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and genuinely collaborative. I draw on person-centred and evidence-based approaches to help you explore your thoughts and emotions at your own pace. I have a solid understanding of neurodivergence, including ADHD and autism, and believe every mind works uniquely - therapy should reflect that.
Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, low mood, confidence, or just feeling stuck, we’ll work together to understand what’s happening and find ways forward that fit you working with both adults and young people. My aim is for therapy to feel like a conversation where you feel seen, heard, and supported - not judged or pressured.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Working Together
Life can feel overwhelming, and reaching out for support is a brave first step. Whatever you’re facing - stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, or something else - you’ll find a space here where you are listened to with compassion and respect, never judgment. My focus is on creating a safe, calm environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings freely and at your own pace.
Counselling is a collaborative process. I’ll walk alongside you through every stage - whether progress feels fast or slow, or even if things feel stuck. Together, we’ll work towards clarity and positive change.
What to Expect
Our first session is simply about getting to know each other and deciding if we’re the right fit. We’ll talk about what you hope to gain from counselling and agree on how we’ll work together. Your voice matters, and your goals will guide the process.
Flexible Options
I offer sessions in the way that suits you best - face-to-face, online via Zoom, or telephone counselling. We’ll discuss what feels most comfortable so you can choose the option that works for you.
Next Steps
If you’d like to find out more, I offer a free 15-minute consultation call with no obligation to book. Taking the first step can feel daunting, but I’m here to listen and support you every step of the way.
I look forward to hearing from you.
