How it works?

Head over to www.abandctherapies.com to book in a free consultation and we can discuss your needs, expectations and the next steps on the process. This will give you a chance to determine if I'm the right person for you. There's no expectations set to these calls.

The First Session

It's common to question if you've made the right decision and feel nervous about your first session. It's also common to become overwhelmed/cry. This is part of the job please don't worry. The first session we complete some admin tasks, the contract confirm boundaries and confidentiality. We then go through an assessment process. This looks different for everyone.

Under 16s

I'll have an initial consult with the parent/guardian,  to discuss the best way to proceed. The parent/guardian can attend the first session to cover assessment, boundaries and confidentiality but remaining sessions they will be asked to wait in the waiting room to allow their child space to speak freely.
