About me
Sometimes, we don’t always feel ‘heard’ or ‘listened’ to, or we could even feel lonely when we aren’t alone. Having someone who enables you to feel heard is important – because you are important. That’s where I come in.
Often, we leave our mental health as a last resort. When truly, it shouldn’t be our last resort, it should be just as important as the small things we do in everyday life. Counselling has the ability to help you feel empowered, to make those changes you feel you want to make, whilst having that safe space, with someone who allows you to feel comfortable and heard. I believe that therapy works best when you feel heard, respected, and truly yourself. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just unsure of your next steps, I aim to walk alongside you with compassion and honesty. I tailor our sessions to what you need, sometimes that means offering gentle space to explore feelings, other times it might mean using practical CBT strategies to help challenge unhelpful thoughts and behaviours.
Everyday life can be hard and we don’t need to face these difficulties alone – counselling can be used to maintain your mental health, whilst helping you cope with what daily life brings you.
My counselling offers you a warm, safe and non-judgemental place to openly bring to the session what you want to bring. As a registered counsellor, I can work with you and help you move through your problems, in your own way and at your own pace. I don’t believe in a one size fits all approach to therapy, I believe in diversity and I believe in adapting sessions to work with each individual's needs. Whether your anxiety is taking over your daily life, your depression is impacting you desperately or if you need to grow your confidence and feel you have low self-esteem, these are all areas we can work through together, amongst so many more.
I offer a safe, confidential space where you can talk openly without fear of judgement—because you deserve that.
I offer online and telephone counselling, meaning there are no limitations to who I can work with across the UK.
Training, qualifications & experience
As a qualified and Registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) I have experience working with a range of types of issues, with various age groups. Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
