About me
I am a qualified therapist, manager of a charity in Portadown and I run a community and voluntary counselling service in the ABC Council area. My aim as a therapist is to provide a safe non-judgmental environment for everyone to feel secure to discuss those issues that are troubling them the most in life. I use an integrative style to include Person Centred (PC), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic, this allows me to find the best approach for you as the client. The most important aspect of all client/therapist partnerships is the relationship, and that we can work together.
I am a member of the BACP and an NCS accredited therapist, I can offer support to anyone over the age of 16 on a range of issues that can have an impact on your mental health, such as anxiety, depression, stress, (work-related stress, exams, school/college, relationships) self-esteem, confidence, family difficulties, relationship issues, grief, and addictions.
I currently work for Inspire. I provide counselling for Addiction NI, EAP and SHIP (Self Harm Intervention Programme) and Southern Regional College (SRC) Armagh Campus.
