About me
Life is hard, and being human isn’t always easy. At times, we feel stuck, overwhelmed, stressed by unexpected challenges, or weighed down by the past. We can have painful emotions, like anxiety, grief, shame, or anger, that can affect our relationships, work, and overall well-being.
Therapy offers a space to navigate these human experiences with support and understanding. It’s a place to explore your emotions, relationships, and personal challenges while developing new ways to engage with life. It can also help you make sense of past experiences and how they shape what’s going on for you in the present.
I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental, and safe space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings. Therapy is a collaborative process—we are a team, each bringing something valuable. Because everyone is unique, I tailor my approach to suit your needs, drawing from various evidence-based therapeutic models, including psychodynamic therapy, compassion-focused therapy (CFT), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and existential therapy. These approaches have helped past clients feel empowered to find a way forward through their personal challenges and develop skills for everyday life.
In our first session, we’ll discuss your hopes for therapy and how we can work together to create meaningful change.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have 10 years experience working with people of all ages from diverse backgrounds. My work spans NHS primary and secondary care, charitable organisations, and schools. Currently, I am a psychologist in an NHS specialist service for complex trauma, relationship trauma, and PTSD, alongside my private practice.
I specialise in working with trauma and life transitions, especially with young adults, who often face pivotal decisions around identity, careers, and relationships.
I am registered with the BPS and HCPC.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.

Finding the right therapist is important. I offer a free 20-minute initial consultation by phone or video to discuss your needs and see if we’re a good fit. This is an opportunity to explore what you are hoping for in therapy and how we might work together.
If we decide to work together, I will provide a therapy contract outlining confidentiality policies, data protection, fees, and cancellation terms.
Please reach out by email, and I will do my best to get back to you within 48 hours.
