About me
I support my clients to meet life's challenges and appreciate its gifts. In therapy, it becomes possible to turn towards what hurts in order to reconnect with a sense of wellness and freedom within yourself. I offer a dynamic therapeutic relationship where we delve into this process together. Rather than sit outside as an expert observer, I'll be there in the ring with you.
My approach is grounded in contemplative neuroscience, Western psychodynamic theory, Eastern wisdom traditions and the role of the nervous system in trauma and healing.
What I help with:
The clients I work with come to therapy for a variety of reasons. Here are some of the things I can help with:
- Depression, anxiety and low self-esteem
- Difficulties in important relationships
- Noticing and letting go of repetitive, unhelpful patterns
- Learning about neurodivergence and exploring how best to support yourself
- Navigating grief after a significant loss
- Adapting to a major life transition
- Reflecting on and processing difficult relationships and events in childhood and adulthood
- Exploring sexual and gender identity
- Finding more freedom, ease and direction in life
- Getting to know your authentic self
Whatever you are coming to therapy with, I offer a safe, non- judgemental therapeutic relationship where you can come as you are and all is welcome.
Who I work with:
I work with individuals of all ages, from a wide variety of lives and backgrounds. My practice affirms diversity, including neurodivergence, gender, sexuality and relationship styles. I have particular experience working with ADHD clients and individuals from the LGBTQA+ community.

Training, qualifications & experience
I am qualified in Mindfulness-Based Core Process Psychotherapy which I obtained with the Karuna Institute. This is a trauma-informed relational, psychodynamic, and somatic approach. Additionally, I am informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
I also have a BPS recognised MSc in Psychology and an AFT recognised Foundation Level qualification in Systemic Family Practice.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
