About us
Hi. My name is Graham.
I am a fully trained relational counsellor, offering counselling in a welcoming, safe space. I believe a key foundation of change in therapy is in the relationship between the client and counsellor. I work in a down to earth relational way, enabling you to talk about whatever you would like to confidentially. It can be difficult talking to someone you do not know, but I won't rush you. You are free to move at the pace that suits you, enabling us to work together and build up a good relationship.
I will not tell you that I have all the answers, or act like I know you better than you know yourself, and tell you what to do. But I will try to be alongside you in the struggles you are experiencing, and a lot of the time this can be the most important thing.
If you have any questions, or wish to set up a free of charge 15 minute introductory online call, please feel free to get in touch.

Member organisations *
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

I am also keen to stay up to date with current practices within my field and also any new developments as they may emerge. This requires me to undertake regular CPD (Continuing Professional Development) to ensure I provide the best possible service I can to clients.
