About me

I am a Counselling Psychologist offering therapy to individuals and couples experiencing a wide range of mental health difficulties and life challenges.

I take an active and collaborative approach to therapy. I place strong value on the therapeutic relationship and aim to create a warm, open space where clients feel supported to explore their experiences, connect with what truly matters to them and make lasting changes aligned with the life they want to lead.

I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). Additionally, I am a Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society (BPS).

Training, qualifications & experience

I have worked clinically in the NHS, specialising in complex trauma, personality disorders and substance misuse. I also have experience in the third sector, providing therapy for individuals facing alcohol and drug-related difficulties, as well as those navigating bereavement. In my private practice, I support clients with a broad range of issues, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and relationship difficulties.

I hold a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology (Regent's University London, 2025), a Master’s degree in Psychology (Regent's University London, 2020), and an undergraduate degree in Law (Queen Mary University of London, 2016).

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
