About me
Welcome
I work with people from all backgrounds, offering respect for your unique experience and a warm, gentle, safe place to explore whatever feels important to you. I work with individuals online, by phone and in person.
My experience includes providing counselling within the NHS and for a low cost online counselling service. I am experienced in supporting people through a range of life experiences, including stress, anxiety, depression, S.A.D, relationship issues, family issues, loss, bereavement, identity, ageing, neurodivergence, health concerns, infertility, pregnancy loss, loneliness, low self-esteem and past trauma.
What to expect from counselling
I will listen attentively, with empathy and kindness for what you're going through. It is a judgement-free space. We will go at your pace and I will be alongside you as you explore anything that feels important. People sometimes find that through having this time and space, they start to understand more about who they are and what they need in order to heal and flourish, forming deeper connections with themselves, others and the wider world.
How to get started
I offer a free introductory call to prospective clients so that we can discuss what you hope to gain from therapy and see if we might be a good fit.
If we choose to work together, you could then have short-term or long-term counselling, according to your needs and aims. We would usually meet weekly, for 50 minutes each time.
Sessions take place in dedicated therapy rooms in either Wimbledon or Clapham, or online/by phone, depending on what works best for you. Clients sometimes like to have a combination of in-person and online sessions. Therapy rooms are located 5 mins walk from train, underground and buses, and there is parking available nearby.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Approach to therapy
This is your time to use as you wish. My aim is to provide an accepting space where any part of you is welcome. Whist many of my clients do talking therapy, we can explore different ways of doing therapy, including writing, using photographs and using symbolic objects. Please feel free to discuss your preferences, interests and needs with me and we can work together to develop a counselling environment that works for you.
Inclusion
I am an inclusive, anti-racist, LGBTQIA+ and trans inclusive, disability and neurodiversity affirming person and counsellor. I welcome adults of all ages (18+) and people from all faiths.
