About me
You might be feeling stuck in self-doubt, overwhelmed by anxiety, or carrying grief that feels too heavy to share. Perhaps you’re living with the effects of emotional abuse or loss, struggling with low self-worth, or trying to find your way back to yourself after life has changed in painful or unexpected ways. It can feel lonely, confusing, and exhausting — but you don’t have to go through it alone.
You may be experiencing low confidence, constant overthinking, or a sense that you’ve lost touch with who you are. Grief, including baby or pregnancy loss and the menopause or endometriosis, can feel especially isolating. Together, we can begin to gently explore your experiences and relationships, untangling patterns that no longer serve you so you can feel safer, more grounded, and more connected to yourself.
Counselling offers a warm, non-judgmental space where you can speak openly about what’s going on for you. You’ll be met with understanding and acceptance, without pressure or expectation. Over time, this can help you make sense of your thoughts and feelings, build self-acceptance, and begin to heal.
The relationship we build in counselling is central to the process. Feeling heard, valued, and accepted as you are can create the safety needed for real change to happen. This is a non-directive space, meaning you won’t be told what to do — instead, you’ll be supported in finding your own way forward, at your own pace.
In our sessions, you might begin to notice and explore:
• Patterns or behaviours that feel hard to shift
• The impact of past or present relationships
• Difficult emotions or self-beliefs
• Experiences of trauma, loss, or life transitions
Through this process, many people find a growing sense of self-esteem, confidence, and emotional resilience.
Sessions are available online across the UK, or in person in Chipping Sodbury (BS37 6AS). Face-to-face availability is currently limited, with more flexibility for online sessions at different times during the week.
Sessions are 50 minutes and take place weekly or fortnightly to support continuity. A free 15–20 minute introductory call (online or by phone) is available, with no pressure or obligation — just a chance to see how it feels.
A limited number of online concession spaces are available for students and student counsellors at £40 per session.
Areas often explored in counselling include anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, intrusive thoughts, emotional or narcissistic abuse, neurodiversity, childhood trauma, substance misuse, self-harm, disordered eating, faith and spirituality, cultural identity, family dynamics, sexual abuse, anger, grief, existential concerns, relationship difficulties, and personal growth.
You’re welcome to reach out when you feel ready.

Further information
I mainly work online via Google Meet, which is encrypted and easy to use. Online counselling can be a convenient means of doing therapy for those working from home, people with social anxiety or just to fit a 50-minute session into your day without having to commute. I can also offer telephone sessions to those who prefer this method of connecting.
If you would like an in person session, I am available on a Friday afternoon at Network Counselling in Filton. Network is accessible and has a small car park to the front of their building on Elm Park.
I can also see in person clients at Goldney House on Chipping Sodbury High Street. Goldney House has a stair lift for accessibility, and there is on-street parking.
