About me
I am Eglantine (she/her), an integrative counsellor. I provide individual therapy to adults in both English and French, and I am available in person and online.
I want to offer you a warm, safe and reliable space, where you can feel witnessed and valued. This is an opportunity to design your own path forward, with a greater sense of choice and clarity.
My therapeutic approach
I will draw on a range of perspectives, mainly psychodynamic, humanistic, and existential, to support your journey through therapy.
At the heart of what I do is the conviction that meaningful healing and change can happen through our connections with others. Together, we will work to build a collaborative relationship, helping you explore your patterns and connect with deeper emotions. This can lead you to open unexpected doors, to discover new meanings.
Embracing diversity
The way I practise is inclusive, affirming and anti-oppressive. I welcome all aspects of your identity: your culture, religion, race, class, neurotype, ability/disability status, gender, sexuality and relationship structure.
My deep interest in working with diverse identities helps me hold your unique background and life experiences with sensitivity and care.
Training, qualifications & experience
My professional experience
I have worked in several counselling settings, such as NHS Talking Therapies, organisations offering trauma-informed intercultural therapy to diverse communities, and low-cost therapy services. I am also a long-term volunteer with Samaritans, providing emotional support for those struggling to cope. This has allowed me to engage with people managing varied and complex life difficulties.
Prior to practising as a therapist, I worked for over a decade in financial services and then moved to the entertainment industry. This deepened my understanding of how professional dynamics and their inherent pressures can influence our sense of self, often affecting our mental well-being.
Relevant qualifications & accreditations
I hold a Diploma in Integrative Counselling from The Minster Centre, and an MSc in Psychology from Coventry University.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and I adhere to their ethical framework of principles and responsibilities, which guides my reasoning and decision-making.
I am also currently completing the MA in Integrative Psychotherapy & Counselling at The Minster Centre / Middlesex University, as I work towards accreditation with the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Additional information
Choosing a therapist is an important decision, and it matters that you feel comfortable with your choice. I offer a short, free introductory call, by phone or online, so we can talk through any questions you may have and get a sense of whether I would be the right person to support you.
I offer a sliding scale from £70 to £90 per session, so you can choose to pay what feels right for your current situation. If this range is difficult for you, let me know and we can discuss what might work.
