About me

Life can be isolating particularly if you are struggling. I offer to work side by side with my clients to address what it is you would like to work through.

Working at your pace, what ever that maybe. Talking in a safe space, using creative tools when there simply are no words to express what is going on or to work at a deeper level.

I am an Australian living in the UK for over 20 years and a keen traveller/explorer, hence my business name is Intrepid Counselling.

I trained in the UK and am experienced in helping clients with coping with grief, loss and chronic health challenges as well as adult adoptees, ADHD, Autism and Dyslexia.

I am committed to working with my clients in a mutual and collaborative way. To help gain good mental wellbeing, increase self-awareness and work towards desired outcomes. Together we discuss and look at areas such as problem solving, strengths, weaknesses and resources, values, goals and aims, coping strategies and self-care.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a Diploma in Counselling in Transactional Analysis (TA) as well as Counselling Skills in Person Centred counselling.

I am currently training as an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy Level 7 (Psychotherapist).

Personal and professional development is vital to my role therefore I take part in regular CPD.
