About me
Sometimes life can feel overwhelming, and you may not always understand why.
Do you ever feel lost, disconnected from yourself or those around you, or as though you’ve lost your sense of purpose? Perhaps you find yourself repeating the same patterns in relationships, struggling with difficult emotions, or feeling stuck despite wanting things to change.
You may be experiencing anxiety, sadness, low self-esteem or feelings that are difficult to put into words. Sometimes there is no clear reason for how you’re feeling; you simply know that something doesn’t feel quite right.
Whatever has brought you here, you don’t have to face it alone.
My name is Dionne, and I am a psychodynamic counsellor and psychotherapist. I offer a warm, compassionate and confidential space where you can feel heard, understood and accepted, without fear of judgement.
I recognise that taking the first step towards therapy can feel daunting. Opening up to someone new, particularly about painful or personal experiences, takes courage. My approach is gentle and empathetic, allowing us to build a trusting therapeutic relationship where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.
I offer psychodynamic therapy, a talking therapy that explores how our past experiences, relationships and unconscious feelings may influence how we think, feel and behave today. Together, we can begin to understand patterns that may be holding you back, make sense of difficult experiences and discover new ways of relating to yourself and others.
I believe that everyone deserves to feel listened to, valued and understood. My aim is not to tell you how to live your life, but to walk alongside you as you develop a deeper understanding of yourself and begin to make meaningful, lasting changes.
You don’t need to have all the answers before starting therapy. Sometimes, simply being heard is where change begins

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) is a professional association, representing the profession of psychoanalytic psychotherapy.
The organisation is itself made up of fourteen member organisations and BPC accredits the trainings of its member organisations. An individual who qualifies from one of these trainings is then eligible for entry into the BPC's register.
BPC registrants are governed by a code of ethics, a policy of continuing professional development, a statement on confidentiality and a complaints procedure. The BPC is a Member Society of the European Federation for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy in the Public Sector (EFPP). Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Additional information
I offer a free 15-minute telephone consultation, giving you the opportunity to briefly share what has brought you to therapy, ask any questions and see whether you would like to take the next step.
Initial Assessment
We will then arrange an initial assessment, where we can explore your current difficulties, personal experiences and what you hope to gain from therapy. This is also an opportunity for us to get to know each other and see whether we feel comfortable working together.
Fees & Ongoing Sessions
My fees range from £60-£80 per session, depending on your financial circumstances. We can discuss and agree on a suitable fee during your initial assessment.
Sessions last 50 minutes and take place weekly at an agreed time. I offer both face-to-face therapy in Broxbourne and Enfield, as well as online sessions.
My aim is to make the process of beginning therapy feel as comfortable and welcoming as possible, allowing you to take that first step at your own pace
Further information
I understand that opening up about personal experiences can feel difficult, especially if you’ve spent a long time carrying things on your own.
In our sessions, there is no pressure to find the right words or share more than you feel ready to. I offer a calm, confidential and non-judgemental space where we can explore whatever is troubling you, at a pace that feels comfortable.
Together, we can begin to make sense of your experiences, understand patterns that may be holding you back and discover new possibilities for moving forward.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out. Sometimes, the first step towards change is simply having someone who will truly listen
