About me
I provide empathetic, non-judgemental, and down to earth online trauma and anxiety therapy. It's hard to be alone with trauma, anxiety, and depression, and it's also a hard and brave step to talk about it.
Perhaps you've survived really difficult experiences like abusive relationships, narcissistic abuse, or childhood neglect and are trying to feel like yourself again. You might be experiencing burnout, loneliness, depression, and anxiety, and challenges at work. Questioning or living your identity as an LGBTQ+ person. Existing as an adult with ADHD and/or Autism, feeling that you're always masking who you really are (or trying to find who you really are).
It's my role to walk alongside you in the darkness (or the light) and create a safe space for you to explore and process what you are experiencing. Not to judge or force you to think or do things a certain way, but to work with you to find the way that's best for you.
I offer a free 15 minute introductory video call to help you decide if I am the right therapist for you.
I offer therapy to adult individuals on either an open ended basis or for a specified period, whatever would be most helpful.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have built my experience counselling people who have experienced domestic violence, child and adult sexual assault, and other trauma.
Registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and have completed an accredited Master's degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy and continuing professional development in working with trans and non-binary people, attachment, trauma, adverse childhood experiences, infant loss, and LGBTQ+ specific training.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
