About me
Hello there, and thank you for taking the time to find out a little more about me.
I am a qualified Counsellor & Psychotherapist, offering a warm welcome and a safe space to explore your world and help you make sense of how you are feeling. At the very heart of the work I do is an understanding that you and your experience are unique, so our time together will be tailored around your individual needs. I work online with clients across the UK, and in person, covering the Aberdeen South and Angus areas.
I offer counselling for stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship issues, domestic abuse, bereavement and loss, as well as many other life challenges. Outside of my private practice I have historically volunteered with Dundee Women's Aid and continue to volunteer at Cruse Bereavement Scotland. I also work with Aberdeen SANDS, supporting anyone who has been affected by the death of a baby before, during or shortly after birth
Alongside my training and continued professional development I have over 50 years of experience from a life well lived.
If what I can offer feels like a good fit for you, please get in touch. Short introductory calls are available, where we can briefly discuss your needs and I can answer any questions you may have. I look forward to hearing from you.
Warm wishes,
Denise
