About me
I am an Accredited Psychological Therapist with over twelve years of experience providing trauma-informed therapy to adults, young people, and families from diverse cultural backgrounds. My work has primarily focused on supporting refugees, asylum seekers, and individuals experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, loss, and significant life transitions.
I offer a warm, collaborative, and culturally sensitive therapeutic space where clients can explore their experiences safely and without judgement. My approach is integrative and trauma-informed, drawing on relational, psychodynamic, and mindfulness-based approaches to support emotional understanding, regulation, and resilience.
I offer therapy in both English and Farsi (Persian). Working bilingually allows clients to express themselves in the language that feels most natural and emotionally comfortable. I work online and in person and aim to provide a supportive and respectful environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.

I am an Accredited Psychological Therapist with over twelve years’ experience providing trauma-informed therapeutic support to adults, children, young people, and families from diverse cultural backgrounds. My work has primarily focused on supporting refugees, asylum seekers, and individuals affected by trauma, displacement, loss, and significant life transitions.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Psychology and a Master’s degree in Refugee Care, a specialist programme developed in collaboration with the Tavistock Clinic, focusing on trauma-informed and psychosocial approaches to mental health and wellbeing. I am an Accredited Member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (MNCPS, Acc.) and a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society (GMBPsS). I engage in ongoing professional development, clinical supervision, and reflective practice to ensure safe, ethical, and effective therapeutic work.
I have extensive experience working within multi-agency environments and have collaborated closely with organisations including Freedom from Torture, Women’s Aid, the British Red Cross, Migrant Help, Refugee and Migrant Centre (RMC), GPs, local authorities, schools, and other statutory and voluntary services. This experience enables me to work holistically, ensuring that therapeutic support is integrated safely within wider social, cultural, and safeguarding contexts.

Further information
I offer therapy in both English and Farsi (Persian), and I have particular experience supporting clients from migrant and multicultural backgrounds. I understand that starting therapy can feel difficult, especially when seeking support in a second language or while navigating life transitions, loss, or cultural change.
I aim to provide a safe, respectful, and non-judgemental space where clients can explore their experiences at their own pace. I welcome adults, young people, and families, and I work both short-term and longer-term depending on individual needs.
