About me
I am a qualified psychotherapist and counsellor with experience working across various settings with both individuals and couples.
Life can feel overwhelming at times, and it’s easy to lose sight of who we are or what we truly need. Feeling as if “there is something wrong” and not being able to identify it or address it can be exhausting. I hope to take some of the emotional weight from you.
Being in a committed relationship can feel overwhelming when the partner you once leaned on for love and support now seems to be the source of your frustration or sadness. It’s natural to wonder if things can ever improve, especially when communication breaks down, small issues turn into major obstacles, and resentment builds. With the help of therapy, you can slow down, truly hear each other, and begin to untangle the patterns that keep you stuck, ultimately rebuilding trust and love
We work together to make sense of these feelings by exploring your past and present - not to focus on what’s "wrong with you", but to understand what has shaped your journey.
My aim is to support you in unravelling your experiences, helping you find clarity and guiding you toward a more fulfilling and balanced life that will enhance your relationships with others and with yourself.
As your therapist, my role is not to direct or instruct, but to walk beside you as you navigate your thoughts and emotions in a space that feels safe and supportive. My hope is that, in time, you will step forward with confidence, equipped with the insight and tools to navigate life's challenges with resilience and clarity.
For a free online consultation or for more information about my practice, please send me an email and I will endeavour to respond within 24 hours.

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Further information
Talking things through has always been a fundamental part of human connection. When done with a professional therapist, it can foster deeper self-awareness and understanding. As a person-centred therapist, my approach is shaped by your individual needs, offering warmth, acceptance, and empathy to help you gain insight and self awareness. Whether you're seeking support for anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or personal growth, therapy can provide a meaningful way forward.
I am committed to ongoing professional development and sometimes draw on elements of other approaches—including psychodynamic therapy, CBT, and gestalt—to tailor the work to your unique needs. My practice is grounded in well-established theory and evidence-based techniques, but above all, I believe in the importance of an open and trusting therapeutic relationship and it’s key role in the healing process.
Finding the right therapist is an important step, therefore I offer an initial phone or Zoom consultation, free of charge and without obligation. This provides an opportunity to explore what you’re looking for in therapy, answer any questions, and help you decide if I am what you are looking for.
If, after our initial conversation, you choose to book a session with me, we will begin with a preliminary consultation at my standard rate. This session offers an opportunity to explore your current circumstances in greater depth, allowing me to understand your needs whilst giving you the space to determine if I am the right therapist for you. It is a collaborative process, ensuring that our working together feels like the right fit for both of us.
