About me
Hello, I’m Debbie! I understand that finding the right psychologist can be challenging, especially during difficult times. When you choose to work with me, you’ll find a compassionate, non-judgmental space where we can address your concerns collaboratively. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important aspects of therapy, and I will always treat you as a unique individual, offering support tailored to your needs. My diverse experience allows me to integrate different therapies to offer a holistic approach, working with clients from all walks of life.
If you’re unsure which type of therapy might be best for you, I’d be happy to have a brief conversation to explore how I can help. Please feel free to email me to schedule a free 15-minute consultation. This no-obligation session is a great opportunity for us to get to know each other and discuss how we could work together.
Training, qualifications & experience
- Doctorate in Counselling Psychology (DPsych), City, University of London
- Master of Science in Mental Health Studies (MSc), King’s College London
As a registered Counselling Psychologist, I am trained in a range of therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy and Systemic Therapy. These evidence-based approaches are proven to effectively support individuals in managing a wide range of difficulties, such as low mood, anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, trauma and grief.
My primary way of working is integrative, combining different therapeutic techniques tailored to your needs or therapy goals, regardless of symptoms or diagnoses. Having worked in different countries and settings allows me to tailor my practice with sensitivity, fostering a supportive environment for clients from different cultural, ethnic, racial and societal backgrounds.
