About me
Life can become overwhelming, especially when stress, anxiety, or past experiences start affecting your day-to-day well-being. If you’re finding it hard to cope or struggling to make sense of things, counselling can offer the support, clarity, and space you need.
I’m a therapist who works in a person-centred, humanistic, integrative approach, which means your therapy is tailored to you—your emotions, your experiences, and your pace. I aim to create a warm, understanding, and confidential space where you can explore whatever feels important to you, without judgment or pressure.
Who I Work With
I support adults facing a wide range of emotional challenges, and I specialise in therapy for adult survivors of childhood trauma, including:
Growing up with a parent affected by alcohol or drug addiction
Emotional, physical, or sexual abuse
Unpredictable or unsafe childhood environments
Early childhood bereavement or difficult parental divorce
Long-term patterns like people-pleasing, low self-worth, or seeking validation
Relationships in adult life where patterns keep repeating
Anxiety and feelings of overwhelm
Mens mental heath
Menopausal women
These early experiences often stay with us, quietly shaping our relationships, confidence, boundaries, and sense of self. Together, we can work through these patterns and begin creating healthier, more fulfilling ways of living.
How I Work
Whether you choose online counselling or in-person sessions, I offer a grounded and compassionate space where you can speak openly and honestly. My role is to walk beside you, helping you make sense of your feelings and supporting you as you move toward the life you want.
A Little About Me
Clients often find it reassuring to know that I’ve experienced childhood trauma and difficult early life events myself. I understand how deeply these experiences can shape us, and I know how transformative counselling can be. My own journey is one of the reasons I’m passionate about supporting others.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
