About me

Hello, I am Daniela! I offer a warm, relational space where you can make sense of what feels overwhelming, painful, or stuck. Many of the people I work with come to therapy feeling anxious, disconnected, or unsure why past experiences still affect them in the present. Together, we explore these patterns at a pace that feels safe and manageable, helping you build greater clarity, emotional regulation, and self-understanding.

I draw on different therapeutic approaches depending on what you need in the moment. This may include exploring how past experiences shape present patterns, working gently with body-based responses to stress and trauma, and understanding relationships and attachment dynamics.

You may find my approach helpful if you:

 -> Feel anxious, overthinking, or emotionally overwhelmed;
-> Notice patterns in relationships that feel hard to change;
-> Have experienced trauma, loss, or emotionally difficult childhood experiences;
-> Want to understand yourself more deeply rather than just manage symptoms.

Anxiety often tells us we are alone with it. In therapy, we face the “tsunami” together, with the right tools and support. You won’t do it alone and you were never supposed to.

Let’s have a chat, 15min free and with no pressure. If you feel you resonate with me, I would be honoured to guide you through it.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a fully qualified and accredited UKCP and BACP psychotherapist and counsellor, with an MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy from Metanoia Institute and Middlesex University, London. I also hold specialised training in ADHD and Somatic Therapy for trauma and complex PTSD.

My experience spans the charity sector and private practice, in London and Sheffield, and internationally for my online practice. I am working with adults on a range of mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression, to low-self-esteem, confidence, relationship and family dynamics, parenthood and life transitions. In the last years I worked intensely with women who have suffered abuse (in childhood or adult life) and trauma, dealing with PTSD and other trauma-related symptoms, and with neurodivergent clients, which I am passionate about.

I offer online therapy across the UK and internationally.

I work in English and Romanian.

Member organisations

Registered / Accredited

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

UKCP
UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP)

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

UK Council for Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
