About me
Hello, I’m Dan, a Chartered Counselling Psychologist. I believe that a trusting, genuine relationship is at the heart of meaningful therapy. I offer a warm, open and non-judgemental space where you can feel safe to talk, explore and just be yourself—whatever you’re bringing.
Starting therapy can feel daunting, especially if it’s your first time. That’s completely understandable. My aim is to help you feel at ease, offering a gentle space where you can share whatever’s on your mind—even the thoughts or feelings that feel hardest to say out loud.
I work with people experiencing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, low mood, trauma, low self-esteem, relationship issues, attachment difficulties and addiction. Everyone’s story is different, and I feel privileged to walk alongside people as they make sense of theirs.
As an integrative therapist, I tailor therapy to suit you. I draw on a range of approaches—including CBT, psychodynamic therapy, trauma-focused work, EMDR, compassion-focused therapy, ACT, and person-centred therapy. At the core of all my work is a humanistic ethos: I see you as a whole person—not a diagnosis—and I believe in your capacity for growth, healing and change.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have 12 years of working in Mental Health working with adults and groups. Initially woking in the secure forensic mental health sector for several years. During my training, I also worked in community settings working psychodynamically with adults with a range of difficulties.

Further information
I know it can be a challenge to find a therapist you feel comfortable and at ease with. So, I offer a free 15 minute introduction call. I look forward to joining you in your journey towards wellness.
