About me
Hello, I am Dan, a Chartered Counselling Psychologist. I believe the therapeutic relationship is at the heart of any therapeutic journey. I offer a safe, non-judgemental and open space for people to explore their life experiences. Starting therapy, particularly for the first time, can be a daunting endeavour. Therefore I offer clients, space to feel comfortable in discussing very personal and often distressing thoughts and feelings. I support clients with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, low self esteem, attachment difficulties, addiction and low mood.
As an integrative therapist, I draw on several modalities to offer an individualised approach. These include cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, trauma focussed approaches, compassion focussed therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and person-centred therapy. At the core of all my work is a humanistic approach.

During my training, I also worked in community settings working psychodynamically with adults with a range of difficulties.
