About me
You might be here because something doesn’t feel quite right or perhaps you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or finding it difficult to talk about what’s going on. When things build up and there’s no outlet, it can start to feel isolating. Reaching out can feel like a big step but you don’t have to carry it on your own.
I am a humanistic counsellor offering online therapy for adults (18+). I offer a safe, down-to-earth space where you can talk openly, at your own pace, without judgement. My approach is warm and supportive, with a focus on building a genuine therapeutic relationship.
I work with issues including anxiety, low mood, stress, relationship difficulties, LGBTQ+ experiences, and the impact of past trauma. I have a particular interest in supporting male survivors of sexual abuse, where it can often feel especially difficult to open up or feel understood.
As a humanistic counsellor, I believe you are the expert in your own life. I will work alongside you at your pace, helping you to explore your thoughts and feelings and make sense of your experiences in a way that feels right for you.
Sessions are offered online via video call.

I am a qualified counsellor trained in a humanistic approach. My training has provided me with the skills to work safely and ethically with a range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.
I have experience working with clients facing a variety of life challenges, including those related to identity, self-esteem, and past experiences.
Alongside my professional training, I bring a depth of personal understanding of mental health and the impact of life’s challenges. This helps me to offer a compassionate, grounded and relatable approach while always maintaining professional boundaries.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

I understand that starting counselling can feel daunting, especially if you’ve never spoken to anyone before or have found it difficult to open up in the past.
You are welcome to bring whatever feels important to you, there is no pressure to have everything figured out. We can take things at your pace.
I aim to create a space where you can feel safe enough to be yourself, without fear of judgement.
