About me
Something has brought you here today. Whatever it is, I've spent over twenty years sitting with people at exactly this point, you've arrived and we begin by talking about why you started out.
The answers feel out of reach right now, and the people who normally help aren't able to this time.
There's a strong chance that your social and work life is starting to be dominated by your search, that behaviours are appearing that seem alien to you, emotions are harder to control, a good night's sleep feels like a distant memory.
Reaching out for help marks the beginning of something that means you can start to reconnect with your sense of control and agency over your life, something that right now might just seem impossible.
I'm here to work with you to clarify your perspective on your life, to choose what feels like the right course of action in a way that is inclusive, compassionate and considered. We work online, so wherever you are, we can meet.
Chances are if you are searching for a therapist and reading profiles, you are ready to start. I'm happy to hear your story without cost or commitment.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
Areas of counselling I deal with
Other areas of counselling I deal with
Early in my career I worked as a counsellor at HMP Wandsworth — a male-only environment that shaped how I work with men who find it difficult to ask for help or articulate what they're carrying.
From there I moved into NHS primary care — working with GP and self-referred clients within a session-limited model — where I learned that focused, time-limited work can be as effective as open-ended therapy when the relationship is strong.
More recently I have built a workplace counselling practice across healthcare, education, retail and corporate settings, with presenting issues including stress, anxiety, depression, burnout and relationship difficulties at work.

Further information
I am from a British and Spanish background, born, raised, educated and trained as a therapist in the UK. I offer therapy in English with a working understanding of Spanish language and culture, and a basic level of Catalan.
I work to an integrative model combining Psychodynamic, Person-Centred, Existential and Cognitive Behavioural theory. All that said, what matters most is the therapeutic relationship we build.
Our first session is complimentary if we decide we're not the right fit. If you'd prefer a short phone call before booking, I'm happy to arrange that too.
