About me
Do you feel constantly overwhelmed by anxiety or stuck in cycles of overthinking?
Perhaps your mind rarely switches off, your body feels on edge, or everyday life feels more exhausting than it should.
You may be living with generalised anxiety disorder (GAD), experiencing persistent worry, or struggling with low self-confidence that affects your relationships, work, or sense of self.
For some, these patterns are rooted in earlier life experiences such as childhood bereavement, growing up with responsibility as a young carer, or not having emotional needs fully met.
You might feel like you are constantly “pushing through,” holding everything together on the outside, while feeling overwhelmed or disconnected on the inside.
You are not alone, and support is available.
About Me
I am a trauma-informed psychotherapist and hypnotherapist, working with adults and couples experiencing:
Generalised anxiety disorder (GAD) and chronic worry
Anxiety, panic, and overthinking
Low self-confidence and self-doubt
ADHD-related challenges (focus, emotional regulation, overwhelm)
The long-term impact of childhood experiences, including bereavement or caring roles
I support clients in feeling more grounded, more focused, and more emotionally balanced, while gently working through deeper patterns that may be keeping them stuck.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent over a decade in the corporate world leading mental health and inclusion initiatives. I understand what it’s like to appear capable and successful while struggling internally.
My work is grounded in empathy, safety, and a non-judgemental approach.
How I Can Help
I work with individuals who may be experiencing:
Generalised anxiety disorder (GAD) or ongoing anxiety
Overthinking, panic, or constant worry
Low self-confidence, people-pleasing, or difficulty setting boundaries
Depression or low mood
Trauma, including childhood trauma and attachment wounds
Childhood bereavement or unresolved grief
The long-term impact of being a young carer
ADHD-related challenges
Intrusive thoughts or obsessive patterns
You may feel like you are constantly coping or managing, but underneath, your nervous system feels overwhelmed, dysregulated, or exhausted.
Together, we will gently explore these patterns and begin to regulate the nervous system, so change feels safer, more sustainable, and embodied, not just understood.
Couples Therapy
I also work with couples who are experiencing:
Communication difficulties
Trust issues or infidelity
Emotional disconnection
Intimacy challenges
Ongoing conflict
Uncertainty about whether to stay together
Couples therapy offers a structured and supportive space to understand each other more deeply, rebuild trust, and reconnect emotionally and physically.
At times, I may work with each partner individually to support the process more effectively.
How I Work
My approach is integrative, collaborative, and trauma-informed, meaning I tailor therapy to your individual needs.
In our work together, we may:
Explore how past experiences influence your current thoughts, emotions, and behaviours
Use nervous system regulation and grounding techniques to build emotional safety
Work with parts of self (inner child / parts work) to heal deeper emotional wounds
Use somatic approaches to process what is held in the body
Incorporate guided hypnotherapy where appropriate
Support you in developing healthier boundaries, self-worth, and emotional resilience
I also offer a Yoga-CBT programme, combining body-based practices with psychological tools to support healing from anxiety, trauma, and stress.
What to Expect
I offer a free 20-minute consultation so you can get a sense of how I work and ask any questions.
In our first session, we will explore what’s bringing you to therapy and what you would like to feel or experience differently.
Sessions can be weekly or bi-weekly, online or in person.
Some people come for short-term support, while others choose longer-term work. We will go at a pace that feels right for you.
Next Steps
Reaching out can feel like a big step but you don’t have to do it alone.
If something in this profile resonates with you, I warmly invite you to get in touch.
Together, we can begin to make sense of what you’re going through and take it one step at a time.
