About me

Hi, I'm Constantinos. I’m a qualified CBT Therapist and your guide through the transformation you’re embarking on.

Getting serious about your mental health isn’t an easy step and I’m so honoured to come on this journey with you. I’ll help you unpack your thought patterns, learn tools that can support you and be a non-judgemental listening ear.

You don’t have to go it alone anymore.

Who I help

If you’re an individual or part of a couple struggling with anxiety, stress, relationship or family troubles, depression or low mood, self-esteem, problems at work or unhealthy habits; I’m here to support you. We can meet during the daytime, evenings or weekends - whenever is convenient for you.

My therapeutic approach

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is my favourite approach. It can help you to overcome negative thoughts, anxieties and poor habits in a compassionate, yet meaningful way.

At the core of every session is effective talking therapy that helps you name and recognise the behaviours and emotions that are distressing you and find ways to develop healthy coping strategies.

Where to start

You’ve already taken the first step in looking at my profile. Now, you need to simply get in touch. I promise that whatever issues you might be facing, we can navigate them together. If it feels too overwhelming to book a session outright, just ask me a simple question. Oftentimes, it’s the only tiny step you’ll need to jumpstart a life that feels fulfilling and meaningful to you.

Training, qualifications & experience

My practice is supported by several qualifications including:

  • Bachelor of Science in Psychology. First Class Honours from the University of East London
  • Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Earned at the Centre of Therapy & Counselling Studies
  • Certificate in Couple Relationship Therapy. Completed at the Grove
  • Certificate in Online and Telephone Counselling. Completed at the Counselling Tutor

Member organisations

COSCA
Counselling & Psychotherapy in Scotland (COSCA)

COSCA is the professional body for counselling and psychotherapy in Scotland, and seeks to advance all forms of counselling and psychotherapy and the use of counselling skills by promoting best practice and through the delivery of a range of sustainable services. COSCA Counsellor Accreditation is a pathway to entry onto the UKRC. It is a requirement of all individual and organisational members of COSCA to abide by its Statement of Ethics and Code of Practice and be accountable to the Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
