About me

Taking the first step towards counselling and psychotherapy can feel daunting, but it can also be the beginning of a rewarding and life-changing journey.

With over seven years of experience in private practice, I offer a warm, supportive and confidential space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences at your own pace. I am an experienced EMDR therapist, Person-Centred Counsellor and Psychotherapist, and I am fully registered and accredited by the UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy).

I also offer EMDR therapy, which can be particularly helpful in processing traumatic or distressing experiences that continue to affect you in the present. It can help reduce the emotional impact of difficult memories and support you in feeling more able to move forward.

Life can sometimes feel challenging, and we may find ourselves facing difficulties that are hard to navigate alone. I feel privileged when clients choose to share their inner world and personal experiences with me. Together, we can explore what you are going through, develop a deeper understanding of yourself and your experiences, and work towards the changes you would like to make.

Clients often describe me as warm, empathic and non-judgemental. My aim is to create a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship where you can feel heard, understood and accepted. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and I will work with you at a pace that feels comfortable and right for you.

I can support you with a wide range of difficulties, including depression, anxiety, loss and bereavement, trauma and post-traumatic stress, ADHD, self-harm, low self-esteem, autism, OCD, bipolar disorder, substance misuse, and family and relationship difficulties.

You do not have to face life's challenges alone. Therapy can provide a safe space to pause, reflect and make sense of what you are experiencing, helping you find a way forward that feels right for you.
