About me
Integrative Clinical Psychotherapist Reg (Accred) and EMDR Practitioner - Europe and UK & Psychological Life and Well-Being Coach MBACP MBABCP
About My Therapeutic Approach
At the heart of my work is a strong belief in the therapeutic relationship. I offer a warm, empathetic, and collaborative approach, where trust and emotional safety are central. By working at your pace, we can explore and make sense of the issues you are facing, fostering deeper self-understanding and helping you move beyond limiting patterns of thought or behaviour. For children and young people, I incorporate creative and play-based interventions to support emotional expression and development in a developmentally appropriate way.
I work with adults, adolescents, and children from a diverse range of cultural, ethnic, and social backgrounds. I strive to honour each individual's unique experiences, values, and worldview within the therapy space.
As a qualified and professionally experienced integrative clinical psychotherapist and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) practitioner, I draw upon a range of therapeutic modalities. These include person-centred therapy, existential therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), psychodynamic approaches, EMDR, mindfulness, and creative therapies such as play and sand tray therapy. This integrative framework allows me to tailor my approach to suit your specific needs, history, and therapeutic goals.
EMDR Therapy
EMDR is a powerful, evidence-based therapy recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) for the treatment of trauma. It enables individuals to process and reframe distressing memories, reducing emotional intensity and fostering psychological healing. EMDR is particularly effective for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression, and other trauma-related conditions.
My Focus
My aim is to enter your unique world with openness and compassion, helping you to gain clarity and develop a deeper understanding of yourself. Therapy takes place in a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space where you are never pressured to make decisions that don't feel right for you. For some, a few focused sessions can be enough to create meaningful change. For others, particularly those processing complex trauma, longer-term work may be more appropriate.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
